How to Copy Signals From Multiple Telegram Channels to MT5

Last updated 13 Oct 20266 min readBy the MT5 Telegram Copier team

To copy signals from multiple Telegram channels to MT5, you connect one Telegram account that is a member of all the channels, switch on each channel you want, and decide which MT5 account copies which channel. With MT5 Telegram Copier, every channel you add comes with one more MT5 account slot, so the usual setup is one channel per account, though you can also send several channels into the same account.

The technical part takes minutes. The harder part is risk: two channels on one account can trade against each other, or both pile into gold at the same moment. This guide covers both.

What one subscription covers, and what an add-on adds

The plan is EUR 24.99 a month and covers:

  • one Telegram account (the one you log in with)
  • one signal channel or group, public or private
  • one MT5 account

Each add-on is EUR 24.99 a month and adds one more signal channel and one more MT5 account. You buy it with the "Add a channel + MT5 account" button in the dashboard, and the extra channel can be switched on straight away.

You never need a second Telegram account for this. The copier reads every channel your one Telegram account has joined, and you choose which of them to switch on.

Cost for 1, 2, 3 and 5 channels

Because each add-on brings both a channel and an MT5 account, the number of channels and accounts always go up together:

Channels MT5 accounts Monthly total
1 1 EUR 24.99
2 2 EUR 49.98
3 3 EUR 74.97
5 5 EUR 124.95
10 10 EUR 249.90

Cloud hosting is included at every level, so there is no VPS on top. The pricing page explains why the add-on costs the same as the first account: each MT5 account is its own cloud connection, open around the clock.

You don't have to use every account slot. If you buy one add-on and send both channels into a single MT5 account, the second slot simply stays empty until you want it.

Setting it up, step by step

  1. Join every channel in your Telegram app first. The copier can only see channels your account is in.
  2. In the dashboard, open the channel list and switch on the channels you pay for. If you try to switch on more than your plan covers, the dashboard asks you to add a channel first.
  3. Add your MT5 accounts. They can be at different brokers and on different servers.
  4. On each account's settings page, set "Signals from". It can copy all your channels or only the ones you tick.
  5. Paste one real message from each channel into "test a message" to check how it reads and which accounts would trade it.

A new MT5 account starts with a copy of your first account's settings, so you only change what should be different.

One channel per account, or several channels in one?

Settings belong to the MT5 account. There is one settings page per account, with no separate per-channel layer. That one fact decides most setups.

Setup How to do it Good for Watch out for
One channel per account Account A copies only channel 1, account B only channel 2 Different risk per channel, clean results per channel Needs one MT5 account per channel (you have the slots anyway)
Several channels into one account "Signals from" set to all, or to a few channels One balance, simple overview All channels share one lot size and one set of rules
One channel into several accounts Two accounts both tick the same channel Same signals on two brokers, or a demo next to live Lot settings must suit each account's size

If you want channel 1 at 1% risk and a newer channel 2 at 0.5%, use the first setup. Put each channel on its own account and give each account its own risk.

The first setup also gives you honest numbers. When each channel trades on its own account, the MT5 history of that account is that channel's record. Mix three channels into one account and you can no longer tell which one is paying for the others.

What happens when two channels send conflicting signals?

Say channel 1 posts this at 14:02:

XAUUSD BUY NOW SL 3638 TP1 3652 TP2 3660

And channel 2 posts this at 14:05:

GOLD SELL 3650-3653 SL 3660 TP 3635

If both channels feed the same MT5 account, the "More signals at once" setting decides what happens. It looks at the copier's trades on that symbol on that account, from every channel:

  • Copy every signal (default): both open. You hold a buy and a sell on gold at once, which mostly pays the spread twice. On a netting account, MT5 merges them into one position.
  • Only in the same direction: the sell is skipped while the buy is open.
  • One signal at a time: any new gold signal is skipped until the first trade has closed.
  • Opposite signal closes the old trades: the sell closes the open buy first, then opens. Channel 2 can close channel 1's trade under this rule.

For mixed channels on one account, "Only in the same direction" is usually the calmest choice. If you put each channel on its own account, the conflict never arises, because each account only sees its own channel's trades.

Trades you open by hand are never counted or touched by these rules.

Do follow-up messages get mixed up between channels?

No. Each signal remembers which channel it came from and which MT5 positions it opened. A reply such as "close half" acts on the signal it replies to. A loose "close now" posted without a reply acts on the most recent signal from that same channel. So channel 2 saying "SL to entry" moves only channel 2's trades.

Custom words, the max signal age and the edit-following switches are part of each account's settings. If two channels with very different slang feed one account, both are read with that account's word lists.

How do I control total exposure across channels?

This is where multi-channel setups usually go wrong. Each channel looks safe on its own at 1% per signal. Then three gold channels fire within ten minutes on the same account, and you have 3% on one move, or more if a channel splits a signal across several take-profits with extra entries switched on.

Practical limits:

  • Lower the risk per signal when channels share an account. Two channels at 0.5% each carry about the same worst case as one at 1%.
  • Set "Never open more than (lots in total)". It caps a single signal, so a channel posting "lot 5" by mistake can't blow the account.
  • Use the allowed symbols list. If channel 2 is only good at forex, an account that also copies channel 1 for gold can block the overlap.
  • Keep extra entries off on shared accounts. Averaging on top of two channels multiplies the risk quickly.
  • Check correlation, not just the symbol. A long on gold from one channel and a short on USD from another are largely the same bet.

The risk settings guide has a template for these numbers. Before you add a third or fourth channel, make sure each one has earned its place, using the channel vetting checklist.

Multiple channels FAQ

How many Telegram channels can I copy at once?

One per subscription, plus one for each add-on. Two channels need one add-on, five channels need four. Each add-on also gives you one more MT5 account.

Can I copy several channels into one MT5 account?

Yes. Set the account's "Signals from" to the channels you want. They then share that account's lot size, risk and rules.

Can I use more than one Telegram account?

No. One login connects one Telegram account. Join all the channels you want to copy with that account, and the copier can read them all.

Can different channels have different lot sizes?

Yes, by giving each channel its own MT5 account. Settings belong to the account, so the account decides the lot or risk for the channels it copies.

What if two channels post the same signal?

On a shared account, both are copied by default and you get double the position. Use "Only in the same direction" or "One signal at a time" to limit it, or keep the channels on separate accounts.
